I just wondered what you thought about my BOGO question in my previous post because I could not get the deal to be a money maker.
Jennie says
Sorry that I missed your question before Nikole. Your store was wrong to put it simply. Manufacturer coupons are completely separate from store coupons. BOGO coupons should always take off the sale price of the item…not including store coupons. Does that make sense? 🙂
Nikole says
Thanks Jennie. I thought that was the case.

I shopped at Walgreens today to take advantage of some of the sales. However, I am confused with the BOGO coupon. I tried the Stayfree scenario and it did not work out to the the same. I appears the $3 was subtracted off each. I was buying two packs. Then I used the BOGO coupon and I was told it could only be used at the value ot the product after the $3 in store coupon was already deducted. Then I used the $1 off coupon I had. Ad the price here was a but higher at 6.99. So I ended up paying $3 for 2 packs instead of free like I thought. I am asking just so I can understand how the BOGO works. Should it subtract the original price before any coupons, or the adjusted price after an in store coupon?

I have a question about Register rewards. If I buy the vitamins and i do a seprate transaction and buy another bottle and pay with the RR i got from the first transactions will it print another RR? Can I keep rolling it?
Jennie says
No you cannot. 🙂 It will cause your 2nd RR not to print. Make sure to check out the Walgreens 101 section…it will help a lot 🙂
