Today’s Using the Garden Veggies featured vegetable is one of my favorites: green beans! Unfortunately all four of my green bean plants died this year, so I’ve been relying on great sales this summer. 😉

Another really easy and yummy way to fix fresh green beans:
Steam them in the microwave for about 2-3 min. (still pretty crisp). Then stir fry with a little butter, onion powder, garlic powder, & sliced almonds for about 2 or 3 minutes. serve. YUMMMM!! 🙂

Thanks so much for this! I was going to purchase a bunch of green beans tomorrow at Sprouts with their sale….and freeze a bunch for fall. My bean recipe is always the same….snore…so thanks a bunch for some new ideas!!! 🙂
