Silly question but it’s been ages since I’ve gotten a paper delivered and now that I’m getting 5, what does a person give the delivery person as a Christmas gift? I’d love to leave out bags of groceries but I suppose money would be better. Any advice would be truly appreciated! Thanks much!

For those of you who did not receive your RP insert I suggest calling your paper directly and specifically asking them for either a credit for your paper or for a redelivery.

I’m here in Grand Junction too. I’m having the same problem. In September we didn’t get the SS for two weeks and in October we didn’t get the RP for two weeks (today included). When I didn’t receive the RP this morning, I finally called the Denver Post. I was told they did not run the RP this week. I was told this is the decision that was made and the ones that were “missing” were “not picked up”. They did give me a credit for about half of the inserts I have missed in September and October but if I’m not going to get all of the inserts, I’m not sure what good another 2 weeks of papers will do.

That’s good to know that I’m not the only one having issues! 🙂 I’m hoping it gets better SOON as far as getting all the inserts. It’s so frustrating to not be able to get in on certain deals because you don’t have the coupon. As for the theft though–my newspaper carrier called me last Sunday morning to ask why I had reported that my papers weren’t delivered when she had delivered them the week before. (It was one of the weeks that I didn’t get the RedPlum inserts.) I told her I had gone online to try to report that I was missing inserts and the only option was to click the “redeliver” or whatever it is (I had been told by the Denver Post to go online and do that if I was ever missing anything in the paper.) Anyway–she then asked if I had gotten my papers that morning because they’ve been having issues with papers getting stolen around here for the coupons. So, I looked and my papers weren’t where she had put them (where they always are). She was really kind and ended up bringing me a few of the “left-over” papers that she had later in the day. But–she said my others must have been stolen. So–I felt like a psycho gal yesterday morning because I had been up most of the night listening for her car to come and deliver my papers so I could grab them right away. This couponing has made me crazy! 🙂 I sure hope we get all the inserts next week!

I called the Post this morning after I found out that the RP was delivered in Denver. I was told the advertisers opted to have the RP in the Denver-metro area only. She said that has been happening and that’s probably why the SS in September were missing. She said she couldn’t say what inserts would be in future issues but she didn’t sound hopeful. She was very nice but said there was nothing they could do. She did say I could have a refund. I called RP. They said they ship bundles to the newspapers and it’s up to the advertisers and the newspaper to decide who gets what circular. Since I had her on the line, I asked about having the RP delivered to my mailbox. She said that service is only available in areas where the newspaper is too small to get the RP. I understand being crazy! Between Safeway refusing to accept my Safeway Dr Pepper coupons, missing the Target deals last week because I didn’t get the inserts and already seeing deals I can’t get, I’m looking on eBay for a straight jacket for myself!!!

Is anyone else having issues with getting all the inserts? I get 4 papers and in the past 4 weeks, I’ve been missing the RedPlum 3 times in all papers (and the other week, my papers got stolen). I’m just not having good luck! I get the Denver Post and live in the Grand Junction area. I called the paper to tell them about all of it and they just said, “Thanks for letting us know.” Uh…that’s frustrating. Are other areas receiving the RedPlum?
