Are you dreading having all that extra candy in your house after this weekend? I’ve got a solution! Some of you may think it is “mean” to do such a thing to your kids, but hey…it’s just an option. 😉
Dentists offices around the country will be teaming up with The Halloween Candy Buy Back again this year to collect candy for our deployed troops!
How does it work?
Find a participating dentist office in your area and bring them your extra candy. They will actually pay you (yes, pay you!) up to $1 per pound for the candy that you bring in. How cool is that?!? Not only are you saving your kiddo’s teeth, but you are making money and supporting an awesome cause! I’m not sure what could be better! 😉
As always, before heading out I suggest calling ahead to double-check that the dentist is participating.

I love this program!!! This will be the 3rd year we are doing it. I love that my kids can go out and trick or treat and have the fun of that, but not rot their teeth. They still get some candy, but most gets sold. Then they get to go to the store and buy a little toy with the money. We are even going to do it with our daughter’s girl scout troop to try to raise a little money for a pizza and movie night. It’s a wonderful program!!
