Reader Samantha had a fabulous trip to Target this week that I’m excited to share with you! Here are all the details:
For some reason, Target is never a smooth trip for me. I always seem to pick the cashier that hates couponers! But today was awesome! I spent $18.12, saving $83.23. And $6 of the $18 was for that trail mix (very expensive trail mix but my mom asked me to pick some up for her 🙂 ). 3/4 of the products I got were totally free or a moneymaker! Thank you for all you do! It’s such a blessing to our family, and my roommates (they benefit just as much from all my goodies!).
Congrats on your couponing success Samantha! Your part about the granola just makes me laugh! 🙂 I think we all have those expensive things to buy here and there…that’s what I love about couponing it makes those little splurges not such a big deal!

I went to target this week as well, and for some reason the coupons never work there. I spent 45 minutes in the check out and five managers came over. It was crazy, but ended out paying $7.00 before tax on a haul totalling over $140.00!! and way to go Samantha!! 🙂

I find it interesting that my Target will mark down the coupon to match the price of the item, which I understand, but then they do not write the marked down price on the coupon, so in fact they are making our overage on the coupons. Not sure that is so ethical. Been tempted to write corp. What do others notice in their coupon shopping at Target?

My Target usually adjusts coupons down so I can’t make money. If Walmart carries the same thing, I’ll usually use my money making coupons there. I wish all stores allowed you to make money off coupons. Aren’t the manufacturers giving them back the full value of the coupon?

I’d love to know what the coupon/product match ups are on there 🙂 I plan on heading out to do some shopping at Target!

Just look at Jennie’s Target section! She has them all broken out! 🙂 Nice trip Samantha!

Great job!! Target is either win or lose for me – I either have a great trip where everything goes right or a totally terrible one. That makes the great trips even greater when they happen!
Coupon Trader 14 says
How many transactions did you do? Since all of the target coupons are 1 per transaction…..
Jennie says
I’m not sure how many Samantha did, but I can say that some Target stores do not make you break it up into separate transactions. 🙂
Sam says
I only did one transaction. Like Jennie said, my Target doesn’t limit me to one per transaction. Except for one product, one time. But I don’t think that manager liked me and my coupons 🙁
