It has been a long time since I’ve put up a See You Shop Thursday post. I’ve received two really great shopping trips this week that I wanted to share with you!
This first one is from Nicole. Here is what she had to say:
Hey Jennie – just did my first coupon deals at Walgreens and I think I did a super job for a newbie!
I ended up getting $205 worth of products for only $35! That’s 83% off everything – or how I like to look at it a whole bunch of things free for a few items I would’ve paid full price for.
I took a picture of the loot if you want me to send it along just let me know!
All in all I got: (* I will be donating)
* 12 bottles of hydrogen peroxide
* 7 sets of hair bands
* 3 Poligrips
* 4 Nasogel sprays
4 Applied Nutrition anti-aging
4 Aquaphor lip balms
3 Colgate toothpaste
3 Baby wash
3 Baby lotions
2 Simply Juice
2 Gillette deodorant
2 packs of Dentyne
2 Reeses cups
2 Culturelle Probiotics
1 Theraflu warming gels
1 Motrin pm
1 Kraft cheese
1 Deli Fresh meat
and one cool pencilOut of all that I would’ve spent $25 on the probiotics and $7 on the juice at the grocery store alone. What a great deal!!!!
Wow Nicole. That is all I can say. Not only for a Walgreens newbie, but for a Walgreens pro, you did an amazing job! Congrats!
This next picture is from Esther who also rocked the coupons this week!
Esther’s out of pocket for all of these items as only $1.04 for $45.44 worth of products. She also got $6 back in +UP Rewards that she plans to use on a future shopping trip, so that’s right…she MADE money shopping! It is possible! 🙂 Great job Esther!

Hey Ladies!
My WAGs was a total of 16 transactions – and unfortunately they weren’t all at one store (there must be quite a few couponers down here in Highlands Ranch because stock was spread out amongst the 4 local stores).
I started out small, doing the Poligrip to get the Baby Wash/Lotion to get the Nasogel to get the Anti-aging… then repeated substituting the Motrin for the Baby (they were the same value). I was throwing in the hydrogen peroxides (3/$1) and the candy/gum to get to the right amount of products for the amounts of coupons I was using (I was wrong on a couple of my transactions and the Reese’s were panic buys just so the register wouldn’t beep at me…learned a lot in those transactions!). When a store was out of the middle range items ($3RR – $5RR) I moved to the next store to see what I could put together – sometimes they had the Aquaphor, sometimes the Colgate. Once I had the 2 $10 RR for the Anti-aging I went on a little shopping spree for the food/probiotics/etc (I used the pencil and hairbands as fillers then).
It was definitely an adventure the day I spent going to the shops and trying to make everything work out right, but I was super positive and the cashiers were all really really nice in letting me figure it out as I went. Totally am a believer in a smile and laugh going a long way!

That is awesome shopping! I am curious…how many transactions at Walgreens and was it done all at one Walgreens? Thanks!
