King Soopers: Stocked up on Sobe Lifewaters and Hummus! Also snaged some of thier .50 eggs and organic carrots. I actually ended up making $4.60 which they allowed me to put on a King Soopers Gift Card for my next purchase!
Safeway: I did the Buy 4, Save $4 promotion once, snaged some produce, and a few other items. My total was $1.09.
Target: At Target I got 3 Scotch tapes and three bags of dog treats for .85!
Sunflower Market: I picked up some grapes, plums, and pears for a grand total of $3.36…my largest total of the week! 🙂
Total spent this week: .70
Total for August: $47.81
Total for 2010 (on groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies): $631.15

I also received overage ($1.49) from the hummus. I really like using BOGO coupons at King Soopers because in my experience they take off the amount you would pay if you didn't have a King Soopers card (in this case $3.49 instead of $1.00). I'm so happy because that hummus is a kind of luxury for me and I was even willing to pay 50 cents for one container.

Great job, Jennie! We eat a ton of fruit too. Especially my 3 year old! I buy whatever is on sale for the week at Sunflower and sometimes Sprouts too.

I wish our grocery bill was that low for the year. We are fruitaholics and that will never happen. Ok, one day it might be that low when we buy our dream house and grow an orchard.

Anon~ The overage came from the Hummas and Sobe coupons…the cashier insisted on inputing them "her way".
