Krista e-mailed me over a fantastic shopping trip that I just couldn’t wait until Thursday to share! Here is how she did:
I’ve been reading your blog for a while but I am in graduate school and live in a tiny studio apartment, so having a huge stock pile is pretty unrealistic for me. So, even though I wasn’t able to buy in as large a quantity as I may have liked, I had my best strictly grocery shopping trip at Safeway this week and thought I would share!
1 box of Nature Valley Granola Bars
1 64oz. Welch’s White Grape Juice
2 boxes of Golden Grahams Treats
2 boxes of Chex Mix Treats
4 jars of Ragu Pasta Sauce
2 13.25oz boxes of Eating Right Whole Grain Pasta
1 O Organics packaged salad
1 Philadelphia Cooking Creme
2 boxes of Pillsbury Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit Sandwiches
2 boxes of Pillsbury Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit Sandwiches
1 Bird’s Eye Steamfresh Chef’s Favorite frozen vegetables
1 Mama Bella Frozen Garlic BreadTotal Retail Value: $60.14
Out of Pocket Cost (including tax): $17.36
Savings: 72
Congrats Krista! Having a well-rounded stockpile is much more important than the size of it! 😉

Jennie, what is your email address? I was at your couponing class here in Littleton on Saturday and talked to you about going home and writing a check for the Denver post newspaper subscription. You wanted me to email you my name and address.
