See Jenn Shop Thursday!

It is time for another See You Shop Thursday! Today’s featured shopper is Jenn who had an awesome shopping trip at Walgreens! Here is what she had to say:

I had an amazing 2 trips to Walgreens (last night & this morning). A trip to Walgreens was not high on my list for Black Friday so I put off making a list. Late in the afternoon I saw on Facebook that a few friends had done well at Walgreens, so I decided to see what I could do. I wasn’t expecting much because our store in Canon City seems to run out of the deal items quickly and this was late on the 2nd day. Boy was I suprprised, they actually got in enough that they weren’t even enforcing the 1 freebie item per day rule. After such a successful trip last night, I went again this morning!

My totals for the 2 days:
started with no RR’s
$13.94 oop (will receive $3.49 from mail in rebate)
savings = $158.96
walked out with $29.73 in RR’s!!
12 transactions (6 each day)
54 items!!!
(tax was $6.64! I sure wish RR’s could be used for tax!)

The best part might have been that I got to chit chat with the store manager and he talked about how great Canon City customers are and that he appreciated my business (which I don’t hear often with couponing). He also said that there will be more “jingle cash” (RR’s) throughout December, with some high value ones.

I forgot to get some of the $1.99/3 wrapping paper, so I will be heading back for a 3rd trip to use some of my RR’s!
