For nearly three years now, I’ve been venturing out into Colorado communities to do something that I’m very passionate about; teaching others to save money like they never thought possible. I’ve had the opportunity to extend the reach of BargainBlessings.com to meet some of you face to face to share money saving tips through my Couponing 101 classes. Many of you that have attended the classes have been kind enough to give me updates on how you are implementing what you learned in your finances and it has been such an encouragement and confirmation to me that all the work that goes on behind the scenes to prepare for a class is well worth it!
Today I am very excited to announce that starting in May 2012 I will be partnering with Savings.com and some of my fellow Deal Pros to do something that has never been done before! Through the Savings Nation program we will be offering money saving workshops to communities around the country. We will be giving you the tools, information and community support you need to save up to 50% on your weekly groceries. For the average family that equals an extra $200 a month in your pocket!
Although I will not be teaching the first Colorado Savings Nation class until later this year, there are currently four pilot classes scheduled in Atlanta, San Antonio, Orlando and Cincinnati. If you are in one of these cities, you’ll definitely want to get registered as soon as possible. Here are all the details:

This sounds great Jennie! Maybe I will finally make it to a Couponing class once the CO registration opens!
So does this just mean you will have more resources and tools to pull from when teaching the classes? I guess I am wondering how these classes will be different from your 101 class. 🙂

Great question…and YES! That is exactly right…I will have a lot more resources and tools…the classes will be help more frequently and I’ll be speaking on even more money saving topics! 🙂

I know Hazel, I really wanted to attend the get together in Jan., but couldn’t make it. It would be great to put faces to so many of the names I see on here, and of course finally meet Jennie!!
Yea we might have to get seats on separate sides of the room. 🙂 JK I am sure we can behave, well most of the time anyway.

First of all a HUGE congratulations to you, what an accomplishment!!! I’ve been so excited to be a part of what you’re doing and sharing it with anyone that will listen because what you do can easily and literally change lives. From those that are looking to save for a vacation to those that need to save on groceries because it’s the only way to put food on the table, and everyone in between. Wishing you all the success in the world with this new venture!!
