I bought Old El Paso refried beans last night (7) and got a $3 ONYO Cat. I used the .50/1 (doubled to $1) from a few weeks ago and they were on sale for $1.25 ea. making them .25 each. They ended up being a money maker!

The coupon from the 1/30 RP is for the Kettle brand potato chips, not Lays kettle cooked. I don’t have a 1/2 SS, so not sure if it’s a different coupon in there. The Oroweat bread coupon is for $1 off, and the bread is 2.89, so $1.89 final. Is that good for that brand? I love that stuff! I was also able to get great coupons from them just by emailing them (one $5 off and two $1 off). Does Safeway have their frozen Select pizzas better than final of $2.99? I bought a bunch, thinking that was a great deal. Thanks for all you do, Jen. This really has grown to a passion of mine. Let me know when you next class will be. Dawn, on Orowheat, do a search for an outlet. There is one in Colo Springs that I go to for bread, bagels and English muffins. A regular size loaf is $1.79 (they don’t take coupons) there. So 1.89 in the grocery store is a good price.

Are Safeway’s pizzas any good? I rarely buy frozen pizzas (only tried Red Baron with coupons) but for that price might be worth a try…

Maggie~ In my honest opinion they are just ok. I think they are a little on the small side once you get them out of the box. They taste just fine though.

Thanks for the heads up on the Kettle chips coupon Dawn…it is showing up differently in the coupon database, so it must just be a typo. $2.99 is about as low as the pizzas will go. 🙂
