There are also Old El Paso Taco Shells for .99. I had several .50/1 making them free and several $1/2 Plus there is a catalina for $3 off if you buy 5. So I think I ended up with a $1 money maker on 6 boxes.

I saw a Buy 2 Get 2 Free deal on the Hershey’s Candy Bars (1.4-2.5oz) at the Safeway on Ken Caryl/Pierce in Littleon, so with the BOGO from 12/12 SS, I think that would make them free!
Melissa K says
I meant to say “that would make them all 4 free!” 🙂
Casey says
There was .50/3 mq for the Rosarita Refried Beans in the 01/23/11 SS that makes for a better deal than the mq from the Joy of Football booklet.

For the buy 4 get $2 stuff, does the $2 apply after each 4 items with no limit or how does that work? Thanks!
Jody says
I always ask them how many sets of 4 will work in a single transaction. It is usually more than 1. Just make sure to buy in increments of 4! Sometimes I separate them out by putting those items in one of those carry baskets set inside my shopping cart. It makes it easier to keep an accurate count of qualifying items. Hope this helps!

Safeway again, had released another of their safeway coupon that doesn’t work. I had over $5.00 in produce, and total over $2x.xx and it didn’t take off the $1.00 produce, the cashier had to manually overide it, some safeway refused to honor this, saying it has to be over $5.00 produce and not total amount. Good luck on that coupon, as I have encountered many issues with it, and stopped using it.
Tanya says
Thanks for the heads up!
Jill says
I have had issues with that one as well. All depends on how helpful your cashier is. 🙂
Megan says
I just had a issue the with the Skippy Peanut Butter Safeway coupon. I got 4 of them and should have gotten $4 off. It didn’t take any off. I got $2 refunded. If my kids hadn’t been distracting me I would have realized it didn’t work on any of them.
Tanya says
Jennie- I also found a little pamphlet in the produce section of my Safeway with a $1.00/1 produce item coupon. It expires 1/31/11.
Jessica says
