Safeway has a couple of varieties of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chili on sale for 0.50 each after the buy 4 save $2. We got 0.40/2 rotel coupon recently, doubled it makes them 0.10 a can! The original variety was on sale for $1 each, so not as good of a deal on those.
Hazel says
Excellent … thanks for sharing 🙂
Hazel says
Valerie from the Facebook group page was able to get Wolf Chili for $.19 a can … it’s part of the same buy 4 save $2 deal and the Qs are for $.40/1 … woo and hoo!
Hazel says
Wolf Brand Chili with Beans, 15 oz – $1.49
$0.75/3 Wolf Brand Chili, Any – 09-22-13 SS – (exp. 11/02/13)
Final Price: $0.66
Price Grade: B
The Qs in Castle Rock were $.40/1 … yeehaw!
Michele says
Thanks so much Jody for the heads-up! I was able to get some of the Rotel for $.10 each, just as you posted! I didn’t see it published in the flyer and so I would have missed this great deal if it weren’t for you!
Ann says
what paper do you get your coupons from? I get mine from 3 different papers (pueblo Chieftain, Gazette and Daily Record) and I never have ANY of the coupons you have listed usually. Are the scrubbing bubbles regional? I live in fremont county.
Jennie says
Ann~ The Denver Post always has the highest value and most consistent coupons. You can get a deal on a subscription here: https://www.bargainblessings.com/hot-denver-post-subscription-deal-is-back-and-better-than-ever/
Hazel says
Jennie – I rec’d my renewal from when I signed up for the deal way back when, expires 10/06. They want the full $2.00 per paper. Question is … how long will your offer still by good? Thinking I’d let this one expire, then do your offer again. Does that sound like it would work? If not, I’ll go back to the getting the papers at the Dollar Store.
Thanks much!
Jennie says
Yes, I think that will work fine. Did you try calling them to ask for a better offer?
Hazel says
Nope, I sure didn’t … but I will, thank you 🙂
Hazel says
Argh … just saw the fine print, only good once. Waaaaah. Hi Ho, Hi Ho, to the Dollar Store I’ll go. Hope I can still whistle!
Jenn S. says
Ann – I live Canon City. We get the Gazette (only pay $1/year) and the Post. My parents get the Daily Record. The coupon inserts in the Daily Record are sometimes the same as the Gazette and sometimes even smaller. The DR never gets RP or P&G. The inserts from the Post are usually about twice as thick as the Gazette. Some weeks, like last week’s SS, the Post insert was at least triple the others. I would recommend getting in on one of Jennie’s deals for a Post subscription. This past week I was wishing I’d subscribed to multiple copies of the Post.
Trudy says
I only see $2/1 coupons that expire 11/17. I searched a clipping site and they don’t have the $2/1 either. Help
Amy says
Hi Trudy, thanks for posting! I just did a double check and it looks like all of our coupons (Denver) are actually a $2/2 MQ. I am going to update the match-up with this info. Really appreciate the heads up so we are all up to speed. Sorry that coupon doesn’t match our region 🙁
Trudy says
No worries – Love your site!
Amy says
Thank you! We are happy you’re here 🙂
Hazel says
Hey wait a sec, I just noticed that the comments are the ones for this sale cycle and not rollovers. Love it!!!!
Hazel says
Oops, that was only this section. It’s going to be one of those days 🙂
Amy says
lol I am TOTALLY in one of those days Hazel 🙂 Hopefully we will be able to get the coupon sections to not rollover one of these days though (fingers crossed!)
Natalie says
How are the scrubbing bubbles .50 wouldn’t it be a dollar if they are 2.50 and using a .50 coupon doubled?
Christina says
It would be .50 if you use the $2/1 scrubbing bubbles toilet cleaning product, any 9-22-13 SS.
Angela says
From what I can see, there is a .50 cents off 1 Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles or Pledge Safeway In-Ad Coupon limit 5. This will bring the Scrubbing Bubbles to $2.00 as they usually do not double the Safeway coupons, and then your $.50/1 will double making $1.00 each. If they will double the Safeway coupon, I believe that is how they are coming up with $0.50 each. If anyone understands it differently, please let me know 🙂
Heather says
They are .50 each if you have the $2/1 coupon listed in the last line. All coupon bloggers list the lowest possible $ amount using the highest value coupon in the final price.
Angela says
Thanks! Did not even notice that coupon.
Amy says
Hey ladies, just confirming what Christina and Heather said. It’s .50 after the $2 off coupon, if the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaner is included in this sale 🙂 Thanks for all the help!
Amy says
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to update that Trudi pointed out that our insert (Denver) is a $2/2 MQ (9/22 SS). I have gone ahead and updated that info in the match-up making this a $1.50 and not a Top Deal like before. Sorry for the mistake.
