Long question: The register I used today didn’t like the Wishbone salad dressing coupon, my checker said “I’ll force one for you, but not two because it comes out of my paycheck.” but she proceeded to keep both coupons (which she’s done before). I checked Safeway’s store policy and they do say ‘6. Safeway will not accept manufacturer coupons (including, but not limited to, coupons issued through a Catalina or other in-store coupon dispenser) that display another retailer’s logo or name unless such coupon is for a specific item with the same product identifiers as the product included in our customer’s purchase transaction and is sold and available at the store.” Is this likely why? The coupon was from Walmart, but a manufacture coupon. I thought the whole thing was weird, so I also called customer service and they said, if it doesn’t scan, they cannot accept it:(

My Safeway had Gold Medal flour bags with .25 off peelies on them, making them only $1.39 with in ad/J4U plus doubled coupon!

Do we have to load the in-ad coupon to our card first? Or do we get that price and stack our coupon on top? I thought they wouldn’t let you use both…Thanks!

Safeways Friday $5.00 deal has the Lindt candy bars 3-$5 so if you still have your $2 on 1 coupons this could be a money maker!
