Safeway released a Sunday ad this week that contained a few new deals that you can do in addition to the Safeway weekly deals that run through April 17th! These Sunday deals will run through April 21st.

I had problems with the shave gel. The skintimate went through ok, then the edge beeped. The store coupon didn’t come off one time. The checker told me that the coupon beeped because I could only use one coupon per transaction. So she split it up into four transactions.

To Sandy, I live in Wesminster also, and have been told the same thing. They have told me that your safeway card is like having a coupon, and then if you bring in the in-add coupons, that is a second coupon and that is as many as they will take per item. This has supposedly been going on for a long time, can’t say exactly how long, but I know that I tried it about 6 months ago and was not able to use an MQ along with an in-add coupon that said that the price was “with card and coupon”. Hope this helps.

Ladies~ I would very highligh suggest going to a different store. An in-ad coupon is not a MQ…it is simply a store sale. 🙂

This happens in Castle Pines, too … but only with one register person. I try to time my trips when I know she’s not there.
Gotta admit, after I read it, I can see why she refused to let me use a store q and an MQ. Here’s the line I was looking at:
23. If a customer presents two coupons for the same item in a single transaction, Safeway will give the highest discount for that item, subject to the terms of the applicable offer and/or coupon.
I think she sees the Store Q and the MQ as two coupons, period.
Is there another line that I’m missing where it states you can stack? I tend to nod off at times when forced to read gobblety-gook while looking for the meat & taters of the policy.
I’d love to trot it up there to her if it is spelled out somewhere. Or gallup. Not skip.

went to purchase the shaving cream today and safeway store manager in westminster told me they weren’t accepting store and manufacturer coupons together anymore?? when was this?

I went in to get some of the gatordae today (stocking up for a conssecion stand), such a good price. Sadley after looking at my reciept later, somehow the coupon didn’t get on there, so I actually didn’t get the good deal. Frustrating
