Reader Elizabeth e-mailed me a great savings tip at Safeway. Here are all the details:
My friend, Katrina, found this awesome deal at Safeway and I thought I’d share. There’s a rebate offer that is good through Tuesday on 9 different new products. We found the tearpad for this at the back endcap of the cereal aisle at the Parker Safeway.
You can buy one of each of the items listed, send in the original receipt with the upc codes written on it and circle the prices on the receipt. They will then send you a check in the mail for the purchase amounts.
The tearpads that we found had barely been touched and every item that I picked up was $2.50 or less.
Have you spotted these rebate forms in your Safeway store? If you plan to get in on it, don’t forget that this offer is only good through Tuesday, June 26th so you’ve only got a few days.

I asked at the Littleton store on Pierce & the manager said maybe the store at Mineral & Broadway has them since it’s a “flagship” store?

I hope I’m able to find this tear pad at my safeway! Do you happen to know if/where it is at the HIghlands Ranch Safeway?

I was shopping at Safeway on Saturday in Monument and saw the same display with the tearpad rebate form. I wasn’t able to find all of the products (some of them are very specific flavors), but I did find some of them and sent in my rebate. Yay for free products! Just FYI, it does state on the back of the rebate form that any coupons used will be subtracted from the rebate amount.
