It always depends on your store and cashiers I think. The Safeway I shop at will take them. My friends local Safeway will just reduce the coupon to $.99- no overage.

Debbie-I bought 6 boxes of them last week at the Safeway at Mineral, it took the full 1.00 off no problem. I had lots of other items to absorb the 1 cent each.

I tried using these at Safeway and they would not take them. The item is only 99 cents and the coupon is for $1.00. They would not reduce the coupon to 99 cents. Talked to the Manager and he said the computer will not take it! Bummer!
