Have you all gotten in on the FREE Dr. Pepper when you buy two Safeway Pizzas [2]? We are currently working on a ton of front yard upgrades at our house, which usually leave us pretty exhausted at the end of the day. Knowing that Safeway was having this nice deal, I headed on over and grabbed some for dinner! We ended up having a special family night together that helped relieve the stress of our hard work. I chose the Five Cheese Pepperoni and Primo Italiano Meat Pizzas because even though Safeway had quite a few selections, most of them had onions and sadly our family doesn’t eat onions. Luckily, both pizzas turned out really tasty and because there are only 3 of us in the house we were able to stretch the deal for 2 dinner nights! We tried the thin crust Primo Italiano the first night and Pepperoni the second. Both of them tasted good and had great flavor but our favorite was the Primo Italiano Meat Pizza. I would honestly say that for the price these pizzas aren’t anything “special” on their own but when you add in the free Dr. Pepper it makes it a pretty good competitor for other pizza deals around. If you like pizza, Dr. Pepper or just need a family night I would say it’s a worthwhile deal to get in on.
In addition to the pizza deal we had a real treat with the free Dr. Pepper. Usually we don’t drink soda in our house so after all that hard outside work it was extra special to pop open an ice cold Dr. Pepper. Something about family time and a cold fizzy beverage just makes you feel good 🙂 Our son Jedidiah was trying pretty hard to get that Dr. Pepper out of the can but we decided mommy and daddy would enjoy it for now. We had such a fun night relaxing, laughing, and dancing to some music while we enjoyed the yummy pizza and Dr. Pepper. Overall it was a blast and we really couldn’t beat the deal… or the excuse to have a special family night together!
Don’t forget that to get in on this deal you will need to sign up for a club card with Safeway.
