I went to Safeway today and used the in store coupon for the duncan hines cake mixes for .99 and I had a coupon for a free cake/brownie mix when you buy 2 so it made them each .66 for a great deal! Not sure where the coupon was from because I cut them out but I think it expires today 7/31!
Andrea says
Has anyone in Denver confirmed the Hamburger Helper catalina?
Edna Lee says
Yes, I got a $2 catalina from hamburger Helper goo towards beef, chicken, or tuna. However, I went to Safeway again today and pucked up some Hmburger helper and did not get the catalina a second time. I was hoping.
Edna Lee says
Went to Safeway, the Pillsbury Browniw Mix is 99cents when you buy 4 and get $4 off. I had a printable coupon for 0.55 off which double to a $1.00 so that made the brownie mix free; well one box was free. Sorry, to say that I did not pay attention to the cake mix price.
Glad I read the comment about the cereal; because I received a catalina at the register and the cashier applied it to my order before I got a chance to see why I got it. I was courteous and only got 4 boxes of cereal at 0.79 a box; I couldn’t resist.
The folgers coffee is 3.49 each when you buy 4 participating items and get the $4 off (the coffes is 11.3 oz). I used my 1.00 off 2 folgers coupon.
Hope this helps someone.
beth says
Thank you! Helps me. Heading to Safeway tomorrow.
Leah says
I’m so glad I read the comments this week because I was able to get the Piccolini deal as well. While I was shopping, I noticed that Nature’s Bounty and Naturemade Vitamins were on sale buy one get one. I had a Nature’s Bounty coupon so I got 2 supplements for 5.75 each. I am new to couponing but I think that’s pretty good!

I’ve searched the Target on Arapahoe the past 2 weeks and they’ve been out of this. I was at Safeway and checked their price and they have it on a 10 for $10 deal. After coupons, these 10 averaged out to .40 a box. Whoop! Whoop!
(My apologies for posting under both Target & Safeway – just wasn’t sure which one would be more appropriate!)
Edna Lee says
Thanks for posting it here. I will have to make a stop at Safeway.
Lisa says
I had .75 off Brownie Crunch coupons, making the Coco Puff Brownie Crunch cereal .79 a box w/ in ad coupon! My coupons were clipped so I’m not sure which insert they came out of, but I think it was a 7/17 insert. Maybe someone out there can verify…
Janet says
Yes Lisa, it was a 7/17 insert, Denver Post, I believe SS. I got the max of four boxes! I am game for cereal when it is .79 a box. We haven’t seen a great deal for less than that on cereal lately, so I will take 1.00 or less!
PavZilla says
I hit Safeway last week for cereal and again this week for the Brownie Crunch. EVERY time the little ole register has spit out catalinas – 2.00 off 5 GM cereals. I was told by a clerk that cereal box sizes are going to be changing soon so they’re trying to clear the shelves. I did what I could to help, within courteous limits. Does that make me a cereal killer 🙂
Susan says
The only coupon I see for El Monterey is for their snack items. Would that include the burritos?
Lisa says
Yes – I wondered the same thing last week, but I bought four packages and the coupons worked great!
angie says
For the Crest Cross-Action toothbrushes, I think they are 2.49. I think you should be able to use the BOGOfree MC from a recent insert for two AND two $2.00 off MC for the ones you are buying…getting all 4 for .98. Is that right?
Janell says
I dont think you can use a BOGO AND two additional MQ because you are essentially using 3 MQ for only 2 items.
