Quick Tip: Colorado Safeway stores double all coupons up to $1, so if you have a .40 coupon it will double to .80. A .75 coupon will double to $1, and a .25 coupon will double to .50!

I just got the Hillshire $1 catalina too, so it's still working.
Also, can buy Lea & Perrins Thick Worcester sauce for $3.35, minus a $1 MQ (may need Jennie's coupon sheet to find the right one) minus a $.50 Safeway coupon from the new meat department savings book. So pretty cheap anyway for that fancy stuff, but then my Safeway had a bunch of bottles with Try Me Free tags, so it's a money maker!
If you can find that coupon book, it also has a Hebrew National coupon to sweeten the BOGO deal.
And Safeway had a reduced price for Eggland's Best jumbo eggs, so they're a pretty good price if you can find a coupon to knock a dollar off of them. I found one in a magazine (I think it was All You or Good Housekeeping? I should have kept track!). Anyway, good week for Safeway!

my Masterpiece BBQ coupon was not going through either. the checker finally scanned the bottle again to get the price and adjusted the coupon to .99 for me. 🙂
also all the pops are on sale buy 2 (@ 4.99 each) get 3 FREE! that comes out to $2 a 12 pack… a steal if you ask me. 😉

You should just bring the coupon policy with you. That is what I always do. The stores should always go by the printed policy.

I had trouble with the Masterpiece BBQ sauce as well. The coupon would not scan because it was for more then the item price. Have you talked to the store manager about this before and what did they say?

Coupon stacking is only not allowed in HI stores.
#5 states Coupon amount may be reduced so that any combined discounts and coupons do not exceed the value of the item. See number 12 below.

Also, how do you get them to take $1 coupon off something that's 99c? (Like the Masterpiece BBQ sauce). Last time I tried that they wouldn't take it or adjust the price down. Taking a 55c coupon that doubles is ok because the register doubles it up to 99c.

I thought Safeway's new coupon policy was that you could no longer stack a store coupons w/ a manf. coupon. So wouldn't the Kraft Singles deal not work?
