Popped in this morning for the pineapple and headed back to the used meat section. Please anyone, make sure to check back there – Castle Pines has been chock full of great deals! Lately they have had so many brands of lunch meat and hot dawgs it’s just pure carnivore craziness.
I got Oscar Mayer boiled ham @ 50% off – $1.64. Expires 07/01 – they had lots.
The Bawka Bawka deal was getting packages of the Tyson Grilled and Ready chickens – they were 75% off, that brought them down to a buck and then I laid the coupon out for a bawk off and they were free. These expire tomorrow but they go straight into the freezer and I pop them out for immediate use in salads and stuff.
They also had General Mills Chex Mills cereal bars on a close-out price of $1.49. Using the coupon from Sunday brings them down to $.49 a box. Those were right on the shelf with the regular cereal bars.

I second that! I was there last week checking out the meat markdowns and the butcher came out and pointed out that they had Honeysuckle frozen turkey breasts for $.20/lb! I got two for $1.60 each. Gobble gobble baby!

The Dole Pineapple 8oz cans are $0.69 this week. If you use the Dole coupon from today’s ad for $0.75/2 (I think it was SS), and buy a total of 4 cans (use 2 coupons), it will print a $0.50 Catalina, making these just under $0.07 each.

They had a pic of a pineapple teriyaki turkey burger on the page with the coupon. It looked awesome. I may try and wrangle some Fosters Chicken burgers over at Soopers and do that recipe with chicken instead of turkey. Either way, I’m fowl.

I am just wondering if anyone else has looked into the Just for U thing? I have already been a registered user for Safeway.com and put most the in-ad coupons directly on my card to use them, so there were no free eggs for me or anything. The thing I am wondering about are the personalized deals. Have you looked into this at all Jennie? There were a couple for me that seemed pretty decent (safeway mac & cheese for $0.47) but some were just eh, fruit snacks for $1.94 but they are already on sale for $2. The cashier when I checked out the other day was telling me to look into it so because you can load the store coupons and manufacturer’s coupons on your card, which i already knew. But with the MQs, they won’t double if you put them on your card, so why would I do that instead of clipping. Just looking for other people’s thoughts….

Did anyone else get the 20% off coupons in the mail? I got one that was 20% off and another for 20% off fresh produce. I was wondering if anyone had tried it yet and how it worked out. Does it apply to multiple packages of meat or just one?
