Susan~ I would say that it is pretty rare to see Classico go too much lower than $2 w/free pasta…although you just never know with Safeway! If I were you, I would go ahead and snag it at $1.25 each with the free pasta.

I was up til 11:30 last night trying to print and sort coupons and I started at 9. Does this always take so long!?!?
Anyway….still trying to figure out how I can go today and get lots of cereal…how many boxes would one actually buy? If you buy 4 boxes and assuming you have coupons for all or some of those 4 boxes, you buy them. Then you get your catalina and apply it to 4 more boxes in your next transaction and those 4 boxes might also have coupons as well?

Chris and Charlotte~ As I think you know the customer service desk was wrong…they will get reimbursed for them. I suggest printing off an actual Target store coupon and bringing it with you when you try again…that way you can show them the difference. 🙂

Are the Quaker Oatmeal Squares definitely included? My store in east Denver didn't have them in the sale — weren't marked, but guess I need to go back and see if they'll ring up right. But the ad didn't show them as being included. Did anyone else try those?

So I had trouble with the Post manufacturer's coupon that has the Target logo on it. At self check-out it seemed to scan and go through, but then it wasn't on my receipt. I had the cashier get it out and took it to customer service and they said they can't get reimbursed for it since it is from target.com. I am going to try again this weekend by bringing the coupon and my receipt though…hopefully the nicer manager will be working.

Amanda~ Your best bet is to create a separate account for your SW and KS cards, but keep in mind that the easiest way to do that is to get a new card at either of the stores and create your new account with that. Transferring a card to a new account is a big pain.

The link for the Multi Grain Cheerios coupon goes to a coupon for kids cereals and doesn't include Multigrain Cheerios.
Also, I've been having this problem lately with cellfire and similar sites…certain Qs are not available for me or are available at a different store than I need. Example, the Multigrain Cheerios q is available to put on my Soopers card, but I want it on my Safeway card. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Regina, you can either go to customer service at your store, or call the Catalina company at 1-888-322-3814.
I've just gone to customer service when I had problems, but they may not really understand or even be aware of the cats. I've never called Catalina, but I understand they are really helpful.

I totally do recon to find my favorite cashiers. I'm such a dork. At Safeway on Quebec/Cty Line, Cassandra is my favorite by far. Also, the self-check there is really great. There are several male cashiers (don't know names!) who are awesome with coupons (sometimes they even help me bag!!!).
At the Kings on Quebec, I love Roy for my cashier. Avoid Dilia!
There are so many cashiers at Target…it's really hit or miss for me, and I don't go often enough to learn names.
Defintely try to remember what your favorite cashiers look like so you can use them over and over again. They'll start recognizing you sooner or later too!!!

The stores i mostly go to are on Quebec and I LOVE the managers at both Safeway and King Soopers. They always are on my side and never make me feel like I'm a "burden" to them. Cashiers are mostly good at both stores, but you always run into 1 or 2 that think you're stealing. Just avoid those ones when you find them. Also, both those stores have self check-outs, which I prefer because I can do as many different transactions as I want without holding up any lines. Hope that helps!

Del Monte Fruit Chillers Cups or Tubes are 2/$5 (thru May 25). Use $1/1 from Coupons.com and $1 Safeway E coupon (if you have it) to get one for .50. They are in the canned section with the fruit.
Also they Arm & Hammer Gel Detergent (two different varieties)is on sale for 2.99. They had a $1 off coupon in the Safeway May Coupon book, sitting right next to it. So the price was $1.99 for the 31 load size, less than .07 per load. Not sure what the target price is but I picked one up. Anyone know if this is a good deal or not?
Catalina deal worked for me on the Cornflakes and I found a $1 off milk Kellogs coupon in a box of cereal last week so it was an even better deal-got my milk for .88!

Kristin~ Yes, catalinas will print out at the register and you can use them on a future transaction. Just pick four of the items to include in your scenario and ring them up in one transaction. Hang in there…you'll get it! 🙂

Amy~ I've never had anyone give me a hard time about it. All you do is just put the bar between your transactions and let the cashier know you need to do two transactions. It is unlikely that they would suspect it was becuase of a catalina deal…most cashiers don't understand how they work anyway. Even if you told then that is why you are doing two transactions, there should be no problem at all with that. If you are going to do more than two transactions I would suggest going to the end of the line if there are other customers waiting.
Anon 10:52: Most Safeway promotions do not picture all of the items that are included in the sale. As far as I know these items will be included in the promotion at all Safeway and affiliate stores.

I usually do no more than 2 to 3 transactions. I just use the CAT from the previous transaction for the second one and so on. It really depends on your store though. I have a great safeway where the cashiers are awesome!!

If you're doing separate transactions to get the Catalina deals, do they ever give you a hard time about it? Do you just tell them you want to ring stuff up separtely? The cashiers at my local Safeway tend to be rather grumpy and not very helpful (in my experience)and don't usually appreciate my coupons.
If you do ring stuff up separtely, can you turn around and use Catalinas from the transaction you just did on the next transaction?

Ok, so you have to buy 4 out of those items and you are using coupons to get an even cheaper price…get it. I don't really understand the catalinas, though. They print out from the register when you're done and you have to use them on a future transaction…right? So you have to seperate out your stuff and tell the checker to make another transaction?
Can someone give me a specific scenario or explain how to do this?

I'm loving the cereal deals, I'm just wishing they had the BC fruit snacks on again like the last time this sale was running. My husband loves the nut clusters, but I refuse to buy them when they're 2.99 +, so it's awesome to stock up so cheap!
