Hi Jennie,
So I was switching back and forth between word and BB copying and pasteing all of the wonderful reader tips when the light bulb turned on – is there a way you can include the comments in your print friendly documents?
That would be awesome!
Diane says
There is also a q for .50 off the Yakisoba ramen in SS 3/11. They are still on sale for $1, so free ramen. My grandkids love them.
Madeline says
My Safeway is running a 50% off 18ct Lucerne eggs right now. Not sure how long it’ll last, but it was a good deal even without the one you mention here.
And I’m bummed that I forgot the gas coupon when I went today! That 50 cents would have been great for our next fill up. 🙁
Hazel says
Roopsie Daisies – forgot, those totally tubular Mentos are back on a 10fer10 – using $0.55/1 Mentos Bottle, exp. 5/25/12 (SS 03/25/12) these are free chompage.
Yanno, this is something I would never tried had I not been plopped onto Bargain Blessings. I’m diggin’ these little freshmakers.
Thanks Jennie 🙂
Hazel says
Maries Salad Dressings are on sale for 2fer5. Over on couponnetworkdotcom they have coupons that will bring them down to $1.50 a jar. Tawk about lettuce entertain you!
Elizabeth says
The $5 friday JennieO’s Turkey isn’t too bad a deal is it? $1.67lb for ground turkey is definitely a stock up price for me. If beef ever gets that low again I’m gonna buy a new freezer 🙂
Laura @ Inspiration For Moms says
I think it’s a great deal. I always grab 3 and stock up on some turkey! 🙂
Elizabeth says
I grabbed 3. And I wish I’d gone back for more later in the day. I divided it up into 1lb portions and froze them. Makes for super easy dinners. 🙂 I wish I could remember when the 80/20 beef went on sale for $1.69 or $1.89 last year so I’ll have some clue about when it might go on sale again. I bought 20lbs last year and it lasted for a couple months.
April says
maybe i missed it, but i didn’t see reference to the 50c off gas coupon if you spend $50 or more. it’s AFTER mfq’s, but i still thought it was a great deal. anyone else think so? 🙂
Holly says
I think it is a great deal. I did it earlier this week and we saved a total of $12.50 on the diesel fuel for our truck. I plan to go again today to spend another $50 at Safeway to do it again. In the trip I will coupon as much as I can, but add more stuff til I reach $50. It’s not like we don’t need food 🙂
Faith Y says
The 2/19 RP has a .55 coupon for Land O’ Frost lunch meat, which makes the deal a lot better!
Hazel says
Looks like I can finally get my cheese with them thar $0.55/1 Real California Cheese, exp. 4/30/12 (SS 01/22/12)
With the Lucerne Mozz @ 2.99 and selected varieties of Lucerne Shredded cheese @ 2 fer 4, may be able to but a halt to my hankerin’ for hunka, slab or slice (shreds) or chunka …
Thanks much Teresa C for chiming in last week on some of the Lucernes having the little Real Cali Cheese Seal (ort, ort – that’s my seal sound). Will check it out tomorrow morning and report back!
Teresa C says
Hazel, you always make me giggle! Ort, ort! 🙂
Last year the 8oz block cheese went for $1.79 a few times throughout the year, or $0.79 after coupon. The best price I have seen on the 32oz blocks or shredded cheese was $4 after coupon which happens a few times throughout the year as well (and in fact was on sale last Friday for this price) – Since cheap cheese is a luxury nowadays, it’s always best to stock up at Safeway. Be aware that the coupon most likely will not scan, as it’s not attaching to a specific item, but as long as the seal is on the package, the cashier should accept it.
Hazel says
Muchos Nachos!
Now that you mention it, I do remember once last year having to point out the seal and explaining how I wasn’t being fraudulent with my coupon de fromage. At least it’s easier with pictures than with words. I can just point to the pretty little cheese on both items and say, match!
If all else fails, I’ll break out into a chorus of Ort Ort look at the seal Ort Ort!
Have an easy, breezy, cheesey day 🙂
Hazel says
Ayup, success. There are quite a few types on the 2fer4 deal but you have to totally eyeball the package to make sure it’s got the seal.
There was beepage but I let the register lady know before she even rang the item up then showed her the matching seals so no problem.
I like buck-a-bag cheese 🙂
Amy says
For the dole canned pineapple there was a .50 cent off 2 coupon that will double. And my guy said as long as you buy 4 cans instead of two than the coupon would work. Hope this is true everywhere. So if you buy 4 cans with 1 coupon than it works out to .25 a can. Good thing my kids like pineapple ; )
Faith says
Thanks! The pineapple coupon is in the 1/29 RP.
