Here are your Safeway deals that start on January 4th. There is a bonus promotion running this week where you can earn a $10 catalina coupon to use on your next purchase at Safeway when you spend $75 or more after all store sales and store coupons. There are some exclusions (including milk) to get up to the $75, so make sure to read through the fine-print in your weekly ad.

I was looking through the flyer, and it looks like rotel is on sale 10 for $10, that seems like a good time to stock up. Do we have any coupons anywhere for rotel, I LOVE it, but I can never seem to get any coupons to match up for when it goes on sale. Anyone know where I can find some? Thanks!!!! Went to my local Safeway and scored some really nice deals! All were “Reduce for Quick Sale”: Finesse “Texture” shampoo and conditioner were marked down to $1.74 and with my $1 off coupon final cost was .74/ea; Godiva Dark Chocolate Gems normally $5.38 were$ 1.99, had $1.00 coupon making them just .99/ea! Softsoap “Pamper” foaming had soap (8oz) was marked down to .99 and with my .40/coupon (which they doubled to .80 was just .19/each!!!! Creta Farm Cheddar Smoked Sausages, $5.49, were marked down 50% off making them $2.75 had the $1/coupon making them just $1.75 ea! Children’s Triaminic Strips $6.35 marked down to $3.36, had three $3/off one making each box just .36/ea!!! Best of all was Pillsbury “Snowman” cookie dough was marked .99/ea then 50% off making them just .50/ea had the $1 off 2 coupons so scored them for FREE! My 6 year old was very happy to make cookies tonight 🙂 All I can say is watch for those

PomX bars are on sale this week 10/$10 and there’s a Pom coupon from SS 12/4 for $1 off any Pom wonderful product making them FREE. I picked up a few and they make nice snacks to keep in your purse. There’s also a General Mills cereal coupon from a recent insert (found it in the coupon database here) that makes Golden Grahams $1.29 a box too. There are printables for Betty Crocker fruitsnacks that make them $.99 a box as well. Happy shopping!

Tina Ann you saved me last night with the Pom Bar. Had the fuzzy hunger dizzies @ Safeway and picked some of these up. Scarfed one as soon as I got to the parking lot and it brought me right back to normal – okay, my version of normal 🙂
I got the Banana Nut flavor and those little buggers are quite tasty!

My Safeway had those new Slimfast 4-pack ready-to-drink shakes on sale for 5.00 each, and there was a BOGO coupon in the (I think) 1-1-12 paper (I’m sorry, I don’t remember which insert!). And my cashier took off the original price of 6.49, so they came to 1.75 each! I’m not sure what that should be rated at, but it was good enough for me 🙂

I got the $.55 in 1/8 SS#2. It should work and mine doubles to $1, not sure where you are though and if this would work for you. If so, maybe you can get it before Tuesday 🙂

There’s also an in -ad coupon for $1.99 Kellogs’s Frosted Mini Wheats, Special K, or Krave. Combine that with last Sunday’s coupon for $1 off any 3 Special K cereals, that makes them 1.66 a box. Not the cheapest cereal in the world but we love Special K at my house & it’s rarely on sale!

Coupons.com has printable coupons for $.75 off one box of Frosted Toast Crunch and also Dulce de Leche Cheerios. both of those have in ad coupons for $1.79, so with the MQ they come out at $.79! Seems like a decent deal.
Also, the on the Safeway site I was able to add coupons to my card for $1.00 off Charmin, $1.00 off Bounty, and $.75 off Capri-Sun (certain varieties).

For the General Mills coupons, the in-store coupon for those varieties is $1.99 a box, still a good deal I think! And the zip code for the cereal on coupons.com is 62946.

I found the Cheerios coupons under the 77477 zipcode. I also found some $1/2 Pop Tarts peelies. With the in-ad coupon they are a dollar a box…not too great but my kids had just asked for them as a treat 🙂

Old Spice bodywash is clearanced for 2.24 use $2 coupon from p&g 1/1. .24 isn’t bad for men’s bodywash.

If you’re close to Safeway, be sure to stop in and check their 2 Liter Coke bottles, mine had paper coupons on them saying if you buy 3 you get one free & when I checked out yesterday, the value was $1.99(even though the coupon said less). So I had two $.99 coupons for the new coke zero, plus one of the coupons from the bottle & got 5 bottles for $.99! Safeway no longer has their coke for $.99, but you can use the coupons anywhere.

Just an FYI on the pistachios, I ran into this a few weeks Go, if they are BOGO at Safeway, they won’t take that coupon. Lady was insanely rude about it and wouldn’t even consider taking the coupon!!!

Tara~ I would suggest talking to the store maanger about their coupon policy as it says nothing about using a coupon on a BOGO sale. There is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to. Sorry for your bad expereience…that is always a bummer! 🙁

I thought Safeway’s policy said they wouldn’t take a coupon on the free item but that one coupon is okay.
from their policy posted on their website:
“4. Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer.”
So you should be able to use one coupon on the item you are paying for.
