Oops, one more … dangy dern that Ragu deal has my fingers motorin’ this morning.
There are still a great deal of clearance items in the personal care aisles. Caress Body Wash (certain flavors) are at $2.24 – I think that was the price. There was a buck coupon yesterday making them $1.24. Not sure if that’s a good deal or not?
Hazel says
The Colgate toothpaste is still at .99 and there were coupons yesterday making them free.
Just as a little FYI – Castle Rock Safeway has been really icky about accepting coupons of any type. My couponing buddy has rec’d nothing but hassles from several different morning register peoples. They actually refused all her coupons this morning!
I had no problems using the Colgate or the Seattles Best Coffee coupons in Castle Pines – s’all good wood in the Pines!

I can second regarding the issues at Castle Rock Safeway. Both the cashiers and the management have been rude and condescending to me, and I generally avoid the place whenever possible. Today we tried going to the Safeway on Lincoln (I believe it’s in Highlands Ranch technically) and were told that the new policy is 1 coupon per item per transaction, and while the Safeway policy says no such thing, this is how they’re interpreting it, and since there IS a line about “we reserve the right to refuse any coupon” they’re enforcing this backwards logic. I’m done with Safeway altogether.
Edna Lee says
So is the Safeway at Castle Rock not allowing you to combine a manufacturer coupon with an in ad coupon? I am completely confused on what the coupon issue is with the Castle Rock Safeway. I have not had any coupon issues with the Safeway in Denver. I have had coupon issues with King Soopers.
Hazel says
It seems to depend on the cashier and what they had for breakfast (or didn’t have)
The Safeway in Castle Pines has been totally awesome which is why I pop off 25 and go there. Well, that and the no sales tax thing. They even have one register lady that actually enjoys seeing coupon usage. It’s such a refreshing change of pace to have someone smiling and giving the ^5 watching a customer save.
All in all Castle Pines has offered up the consistently best shopping experiences for me. There have been a few icky occasions but the good ones outweigh the bad by far.

Wondering what the grades on the meat are? Thanks for all you do jenny! I rely on your grading system:)

Castle Pines Safeway has Arm & Hammer Kids Spinbrush (Thomas the Tank) on clearance for $1.39 – you can get a $2.00 coupon on A&H website. There was register beepage but I prepared the register gal for it so she was more than happy to manually adjust so the spinbrush was free
With no limit and no in-ad coupon required for the Kens Salad dressing the only problem was which kind to get – so many kinds, so little mind

Except Target… They do not take MQs if they have another stores name anywhere on it. So, I have been told by the manager by SW Plaza.

Anna Armstrong~ As long as it is a MQ it can be used at any store

The 1.50 coupon is only for King Soopers. How does the scenario play out for 3.50?

Thank you bunches!
