Amanda says
There is a coupon in the Thanksgiving insert for the Dole canned pineapple making them 0.99. Add the MQ and they are 0.49 each!
There is also a .30 coupon (I don’t know which insert) for the pillsbury cinnamon rolls that would take them down to 0.39 each
Leslie says
On the Pillsbury crescent/cinnamon rolls deal, it has 2 Safeway coupons listed, the in-ad coupon and the Thanksgiving insert coupon. Can you really use both, plus a Manufacturer’s coupon?
Gina says
Last week, I did not deliberately go against the policy, I’m not sure what it is when it comes to have 2 safeway coupons because that doesn’t happen very often. But I loaded the sargento cheese coupon that made it 2.49 to my card and then i used paper MQ and the Q from the Thanksgiving book and no beeps.
Amanda H says
That’s what i was confused about too?! you can’t use two safeway coupons…can you?
Elizabeth R says
Normally when there are two Safeway coupons, they will both scan through the system, but the register will only charge the highest saving Safeway coupon. I actually spoke with the manager of my store, and they said that Safeway may actually execute a “return” on one of the Safeway coupons, only allowing one. The manager said since I spoke with her about it, she would allow me to buy a few with both coupons until Safeway corrected itself.
Amanda H says
For the pie crust/Pillsbury crescent, I’m a little confused. You can’t use three coupons for two items???… please explain.
Ashley says
Safeway’s policy allows you to use one store coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item. The top one is a manufacturer’s coupon. That’s when the company pays the store for the coupon, and these are typically doubled by Safeway unless it is clearly printed not to. While the other coupon is a Safeway coupon. I believe one of these was found in the special thanksgiving circular and the other was found in this weeks ad, they are not doubled. So it’s two coupons each for two items each on the pie crust or cinnamon rolls/crescents. Hope that helps!
Mommy Kane says
Those are just all the coupons out right now for that item. The highest value coupon should result in the final price listed. But everything is listed in case you already used some coupons or in case some were regional. Just gives you all possible savings options. 🙂
Mommy Kane says
And with those, you will use the Safeway store coupon to get the sale price too and then your MQ to get the final price.

Sharon says
I was just thinking the same thing. How in the world does she do it all?!
