Friskies Canned – in ad coupon 10 cans for $4.00 (valid thru 01/17) with the $1.00 off 30 cans from the paper yesterday brings it down to .37 a can (PetSmart is sitting on .53 a can at the moment)
U by Kotex 18 ct liners are .99 – with the $1.00 coupon from yesterday these are free. Prepare for register beepage – cashier had to manually adjust these down

Lauren,
When using a Buy One Get One Coupon on a Buy One (or Two) Get One (or Get Two) Sale your Coupon is your Money! So your giving the store two coupons for the first Two candy bars, and they send the coupon into the clearing house for the money ($1.19 cost of 2 candy bars) and then the you get two Bars free also! So think of coupons as your money!!
Lauren says
Thanks Angie!! Excited to go try it…I am thinking 4 coupons = 8 bars, right? I give 2 coupons for the buy 2 and then get 2 for free, then do it again with my 2 other coupons as I have 4? Thanks again!
Angie Pierpont says
Also free Hershey Air Delight candy Bars.. Buy 2 get 2 Free.. I used the buy one get one coupons and they are Free.. Also carefree panty liners, Kotex panty liners!!
Lauren says
Do you mind explaining how the B1G1 coupon works with the B2G2 sale for the Hersheys? I am a bit confused on how these types of deals work! Thanks so much 🙂
Stacie says
there’s a .25/1 chapstick coupon on coupons.com. Chapstick is on sale for .99, making it .49/1 !
Steph says
The manager at my Safeway in Lone Tree almost refused to double my coupons for the free Colgate. He said they are not allowed to accept or double coupons that exceed the value of the product. Jennie, you mention in your post that the coupon needs to be adjusted down by a penny. Is this how the corporate policy suggests or is it something the checkers just do to get the coupon pushed through? The guy argued with me for almost 15 minutes about .99. It was frustrating and embarrassing! Any suggestions?
Jennie says
Hey Steph…sorry for your bad experience. Per #1 on Safeway’s Coupon Policy coupons can be adjusted down. This is why it is always a good idea to have the policy with you when you are at the store. It can really save a bunch of frustration for everyone. 😉
Ann says
The safeway here has the holiday Starbucks Via (8 ct) reduced down to $3.99. There is also a $1 cpn in the 12/11 ss which makes it $2.99. It expires on the 14th though. Hopefully you can get yours while they are still available!
Kinsey via Facebook says
has anyone had the register beeps yet with the free colgate?
Hazel says
Not @ Castle Pines / it auto adjusted down when scanned so it was a smooth transaction
Hazel says
The Safeway in Castle Pines still has a good deal of the clearance Axe Body Wash available. I believe it’s @ $2.24 a bottle. I don’t think the $2.00 coupons are still good but there were coupons in the RP from last week that would bring it down to either $1.24 or $1.12 a bottle.

Chef Boyardee Canned Pasta
7.25 to 15-oz. Selected varieties. 1 @ 89¢ 1/13/12 – 1/15/12
$0.50/4 Chef Boyardee, exp. 2/5/12 (SS 01/01/12 R)
Brings it down to .64 a can – not the best price we’ve seen but seems like it’s been a little while.
This kind of weather makes my bad side hanker for a big ole bowl of Beef-A-Roni
Mommy Kane says
Hazel you sure now how to make a girl smile!
It has been a few months on the Chef Boyardee. I think .64 seems pretty decent. I don’t buy it alot, but I haven’t seen it below $1 as a sale price too often, so I would think the .89 is pretty good.
I bet you are in the think of the snow right now huh? Down here it is back and forth, we are only supposed to get 1-3″. Stay warm!!
Hazel says
Sssssay MommyK – it’s a snowy and blustery day but not too bad. If I was wearin’ my parka and hat I could be “the grandfather” in Heidi’s snowglobe!
Too bad that ole Chef Boyardee isn’t starting today … I’d meet ya halfway!
Take care and stay safe – to all y’all!
