Safeway has 24 pks of Duracell AA batteries on sale…$13.99 buy (2) get $6.00 off, there is a coupon in the Sunday Safeway Circular for $2.00 off a pack, use 2 of those, use 2 of the .50/1 from October P&G doubled $2 more off. = $7.99 for each 24 pack. Good deal!

I found it in the 9/11/11 SS #2 (there were 2 different SS inserts that weekend). It was in the insert that had a “VisionWorks” ad on the front, and the coupon was near the back of the insert. I hope you got this same insert and that this helps!

In the produce section there is a 8 1/2 X 11 size booklet called Safeway Fresh Ideas Magazine. It is the October 2011 one and inside there are several produce coupons, one of which is $2.00 off one Fresh Express 9 oz Spinach. They are 10 for 10 this week so free with coupon!

I did this deal today and got 4 bags for free! I plan to blanch and freeze and go back for more. I will be throwing it in soups all winter long. How often do we get something this nutrient dense for free people? The lady thought I was crazy at checkout for being excited about free spinach, well I think she’s crazy for not getting some when I was showing her right where to grab the coupons 🙂

The Safeway Fresh Ideas Magazine was at the customer service desk at the Castle Rock safeway. I asked the produce guy and he never heard of it, but directed me to the desk and the woman there knew all about the spinach coupon. 🙂

Safeway in Greeley has the Knorr Homestyle Stock 4pk. fpr $1.49 when you buy 4…. in the meat section they have $2/1 coupons for these that expire 11/13!!! Sweet!

White Castles are on sale for 3.99 – 08/28 SS .50/1 brings it down to 2.99. I’m not seeing any funky thing like a certain quantity. Not sure if that’s a good price or not?
I know it’s just not the same without the White Castle ambience but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Long live Belly Bombers, the one true & original Slider!
