Only seven ingredients and all of them pantry staples that you are likely to already have on hand – this Classic Pound Cake recipe is so easy to put together! I also love that I can easily switch it up by adding different toppings like strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, powered sugar or even Nutella!
This recipe also freezes very nice, so you can make it in advance, stick in in the freeze and ten pull it out for a special treat. I love blessing neighbors and friends pound cakes! It is just so versatile and requires so few ingredients that it is perfect for that sort of thing. Oftentimes I’ll even double the recipe so that we can enjoy one ourselves and have one to give away. 🙂
