Quite a few of you have emailed me recently to let me know you got accepted to Neilsen! I’m so excited for you!
I just got word that Nielsen Homescan Consumer Panel is opening up again for new members in select areas!
If you are accepted as a panel member, the National Consumer Panel will provide you with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the bar-codes on your purchases. Then, once per week you transmit your purchase information to Nielsen by placing the scanner in it’s base and hitting “transmit”.
In exchange for transmitting your purchase information, you’ll earn gift points that are redeemable for name-brand merchandise, including electronics equipment, jewelry, household items, toys, and much more! You will also earn entries into their many exciting sweepstakes.

I was able to get in last time you posted about it and I love it! It is so easy to do and I'm already earning a lot of points. I'm planning to use them towards a new MP3 play for my son for Christmas. Thanks for letting us know about this kind of stuff. Every little bit helps!
