It looks like Neilsen Consumer Panel is once again accepting new members to their Panel. I was informed that they have also added new areas, so if you’ve applied before and got declined now would be a great time to try again.
If you are accepted as a panel member, the National Consumer Panel will provide you with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the bar-codes on your purchases. Then, once per week you transmit your purchase information to Nielsen by placing the scanner in it’s base and hitting “transmit”.
In exchange for transmitting your purchase information, you’ll earn gift points that are redeemable for name-brand merchandise, including electronics equipment, jewelry, household items, toys, and much more! You will also earn entries into their many exciting sweepstakes.
If you are interested in becoming a Panel member just head on over to see if they are accepting new members in your area.
Have you worked with NCP in the past? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Some people love it and others find it too time-consuming. My opinion? You can always try it and send it back if you don’t think it is for you…they pay for all the shipping (even to send it back) so all you have to do is drop it in the mail.
