My Savings with Walmart Family Mobile’s Unlimited Plans!

One month ago I shared with you that I would be continuing to test out the Walmart Family Mobile plan. To recap, these are the things that I love about Walmart Family Mobile’s Unlimited Plans and the reasons why I was looking forward to continuing to use it:

No Contracts or Long Term Commitments
I love the flexibility of Walmart Family Mobile. Should I ever decide to cancel my service with them, I can do so right on their website or by calling. I had to wait two years for my Verizon contract to expire, and being locked into something for such a long period of time is just something that I would really like to avoid in the future

It’s Super Afordable
Walmart Family Mobile has unlimited plans including talk, text and web for just $39.88 per month. You can also add additional lines for $34.88 per month or if you do not plan to use the web service, just unlimited talk and text is $29.88 per month with $24.88 for each additional line. I think this would be a fantastic plan for kids especially since you would not have to worry about overages with the unlimited service.

Easy to Use Online Account Managemnet
Walmart Family Mobile also offers online account management so it’s very easy to manager your account and add and remove lines as needed.

Nice Phones on an Established Network
They offer some fantastic smart phones on the T-Mobile network!

I also shared with you last month that I was paying $125.55 per month with Verizon for a plan that was not unlimited. Ouch! That means that with Walmart Family Mobile I’ll be saving about $80.00 every month. $80.00! I can definitely put that to good use!

What will I do with the extra money? Well….about 20 years ago I visited Disney World with my family. Yep – that’s me! It’s a good thing you can’t see my rockin’ fanny pack in the picture. 😉 It was such a magical and of course fun experience. I’ve been wanting to go back ever since but unfortunately due to a tight budget, traveling for work and other commitments it just hasn’t happened. A few months ago I actually was in Orlando for work and still didn’t manage to visit Disney…lame! 😉 After that I finally decided that it was time to start saving specifically for the goal of visiting Disney again. Yay! I love savings goals!

Since starting my fund a few months ago, I’ve already managed to save a little over $200. Slowly but surely…that’s my motto! The good news is that with all these savings from Walmart Family mobile, within a year it will add up to $960 in savings! That is enough to cover airline tickets! Yay!

Needless to say, I’ve been quite happy with Walmart Family Mobile – especially the savings which will play a large role in paying for my future Disney trip!
