Life with a five month old…well let’s just say it’s a little more nuts than I expected! I wouldn’t trade a moment for the world, but my previously always perfectly organized schedule has been blown to pieces and there has been a lot of big adjustments this year.
One of those adjustments has been our meal planning. While I’d love to make a made-from-scratch meal every night, it’s just not practical and neither is dining out constantly. So what’s a girl to do?
Check out these Michael Angelo’s™ Signature Line meals! We tried one for the first time this week and I gotta say – I was pretty impressed. We picked out the Eggplant Parmesan (I love that they had a vegetarian option). It’s a dish I just recently ordered at an Italian restaurant and you know what? Michael Angelo’s is better than the restaurant’s Eggplant Parmesan
But even beyond it tasting good, I loved seeing that it contains absolutely no preservatives or artificial ingredients. That is so huge for our family right now as you know we’ve been on a journey to get the junk out of our diet and out of our home. Knowing that Michael Angelo’s™ puts thought into what goes inside their meals is something I really appreciate.
You know I’m always a fan of having a back-up when a day is a little more crazy than expected and these Signature Line meals are definitely going to be a go-to for our family! I’m excited to have a realistic option that I can actually feel good about feeding my family.
I also really like that these are family size meals, so we even had enough to save some for lunch leftovers!
We found Michael Angelo’s™ Signature Line meals in the frozen section at our local Kroger Store. You can use this store locator to find them in your area! These are the three different meal options that they offer:
Michael Angelo’s Eggplant Parmesan
Made with fresh eggplant, lightly breaded, the right amount of Mom’s tomato sauce – made from hand selected, vine-ripened tomatoes – and topped with Mozzarella. Then sprinkled with a blend of imported cheeses – Parmigiano Reggiano & Pecorino Romano – to complete the dish
Michael Angelo’s Shrimp Scampi
Made with linguini pasta, cooked al dente, and add plump, tender shrimp to our perfectly blended sauce made from lemon butter, and freshly diced garlic. It is then topped with diced tomatoes and garnished with a little parsley
Michael Angelo’s Lasagna with Meat Sauce
Made with fresh beef, vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh herbs that are sautéed and layered with firm 100% semolina lasagna and topped with imported Pecorino Romano cheese from the old country.
