None of the Walgreens I have been to have had any $0.49 cards, either.

Not every Walgreens has $0.49 cards. I even asked the manager and he said the cheapest cards they carry are $0.99. I tried a second Walgreens and found the same situation.
Try calling your local store before you go so you don't waste time.
