I subscribed to a new newsletter today that I wanted to share with you all!
Let me first say that I used to quickly write off newsletters with “I already get enough junk in my e-mail, I don’t need any more!”. Well, I’m glad that I decided to give some of these financial newsletters a second look, because I’ve actually learned quite a bit from them and now I look forward to receiving them. I mean, who doesn’t need a financial spring cleaning every once and a whie? 😉
Learnvest is a daily e-mail that is sent out 5 days a week. It comes packed with practical money-saving tips and financial how-tos. Here are a few examples of recent topics that they covered:
Discover the best places to travel on a dime
The cost of driving: Save Gas, Time and Money
Learn tips to help you build your wealth
Plan the perfect dinner party for under $10 per person
Understand and manage debt
Get beauty tricks for any budget
Sources for cheap home decor
Create a budget for your next vacation
After you subscribe to their daily e-mails you will also have an option to join their Cut Your Costs Bootcamp which provides you with tips on cutting your costs and streamlining your bills. I think this is such an important concept that is so often overlooked. When is the last time you looked through your bills to see where you could potentially be saving money? I am a firm believer that every individual and family should be taking a thorough look at their expenses at least once per year. This would be a great first step to motivate you to do so!
I love how these are all down-to-earth practical subjects that we can all learn from!
Do you receive the Learnvest newsletter? If so, what do you think about it?
