Kroger is lauching their third annual Design A Reusable Bag Contest today! Through May 21, they are inviting customers to enter the 3rd Annual Design Reusable Shopping Bag Contest by designing their own reusable grocery bag with their easy-to-use design tool. All Kroger stores are participating in this promotion, so no matter which Kroger affiliate you have in your area (King Soopers, Cith Market, Dillons etc.) you can take part in this fun contest!

The top 10 designs will be chosen by an expert panel and the grand prize winner will receive $1,000 and will have their bag design sold in stores. Four finalists will receive $250 Kroger gift cards and five runners-up will receive $100 Kroger gift cards.
Every Shopper’s Card holder who submits a design will receive a credit for a free reusable shopping bag!

Additionally, they have partnered with Café Press so that after submitting your disign, you have the option to buy a reusable canvas bag with your very own design on it!

I had a great time designing my bag today! The design tool was fun to use and they had a bunch of different images and options to bring out my creative side. I just love those little green handprints! You can even import your own picture if you prefer!
After I completed my bag, I headed over to Cafe Press where I was able to choose from a Canvas Bag, Mug, Apron, or Waterbottle with my custom design on it! I decided to order the canvas bag and I can’t wait to recieve it!
The entire process was super easy and very fun to do!

Here is how you can enter this contest:
*You must be a Bargain Blessings e-mail subscriber, Facebook Fan, or Twitter Follower to participate.
1. Head on over HERE to design your bag. Have fun and be creative!
2. After you are done designing your bag, you will have the option to share your design with a group. Add it to the Bargain Blessings group so we can all see eachother’s designs!

3. Come back here and leave a comment to let me know you’ve completed your bag and added it to the group.

I will be choosing my favorite bag and announcing the winner on Monday, April 26th! The winner will then receive a $25 Cafe Press Gift Code purchase their design!

*Kroger provided me with a $25 gift card from its One-Stop Gift Card Shop so that I could have my reusable bag design printed, as well as a gift card for one of my readers so they could do the same. Thank you Kroger!

  4. Hey MJ-If you go back to the site and log-in (upper right hand corner), then go to view my designs (upper right hand corner again)you will then see a green link that says "manage groups". Click that and you will be able to add it to the group. It took about a day for my bag design to be approved. Once it is approved it will show in the group! 🙂 Jennie

  5. Hi! Thanks for telling us about this. It was so much fun. I am kind of slow on the computer stuff, so did not know how to add my design to the group. I also have not gotten my email confirmation back. (Should that arrive soon?) But when I do, I will FOR SURE add my design to the group (I still can do that, right?).

    Thanks again for telling us about local stuff here in CO. That is great. I love the Bible verse on your home page! 🙂

  14. Created mine! So I assume the free shopping bag is automatically added to our shopper card? I didn't see any confirmation of it after I created my bag.
