Just Dance 4 for Wii Review!

I recently had an opportunity to review a game that I know is on many Christmas lists this year: Just Dance 4 for the Wii!

First, I’ll say that I love games that provide a combinaiton of entertainment AND exercise and this is certainly one of those games! I was totally out of breath within the first few songs. Now I don’t think you’re going to drop 100lbs or anything, but it will get you up off the couch and moving. It even has a built-in calorie counter in “Just Sweat” mode!

I also really liked the wide music selection in this game. They have everything from pop to rock and even some classic tunes, so it should be enough to satisfy the entire family.

As far as difficulty goes, there is a good mix of that too. There are a few slower songs that can definitely be a little boring for advanced wannabe dancers like myself. 😉 But don’t let that deter you dancing super stars because there is plenty of challenge too. You’ll also want to play this game in a space with a lot of room. Some of the more “energetic” songs were somewhat difficult for me to keep up with in my small living room.

One of the new features that comes along with this new version of Just Dance is Battle Mode. This mode allows you to have a dance off with friends and family. If you’re looking for a workout…this is it! The battle is is quite lengthy (6 rounds to be exact) and thoroughly EXAUSTING!

Overall I thought Just Dance 4 was really fun and would make a fantastic Christmas gift. Here are the current prices of Just Dance 4 on Amazon right now:
