I’m so excited that JCPenney is bringing back this phenomenal promotion! Starting November 4th, JCPenney Salons will once again be offering FREE Kids Haircuts on Sundays.
It sounds like this will be an ongoing promotion, with no set end-date in sight. Here is a link to the news story that first made this announcement.
I would definitely call ahead way in advance, as I’m sure these Sunday appointment slots will fill up very quickly. Please remember that it is always very thoughtful to tip generously as the stylist is providing the service for FREE. 😉
I took both of my kiddos in to get their free haircuts when this promotion was first being offered in August, and I was very pleased with the styles they received!

Wow. This is great. But, what ages is it for? My kids are 2 and 3 years old.

Good question Joan. I just did some research and from what I can tell it is for kids in grades K-6th. You may want to try calling in to your local salon though just to be sure. 🙂

Just for clarification . . .I took two of my kids when they did this promo to begin with. While we were there my husband overheard a conversation between two of the employees about how JCP is compensating them hourly for their services. So although it is free for us they are still pulling down a decent amount of money. I tipped what I normally do and was comfortable with that since I called the day the ad came out and they were booked solid 3 weeks out. I am so excited that they are bring this back!
