Update: Sorry everyone. From the information in your comments is sounds like JCPenney is refusing to honor this “pricing mistake”. 🙁 For those of you that did get your orders to go through at the $19.49+tax price, I hope they do not cancel them, but we will just ahve to wait and see.

These ship straight from the manufacturer, so it is probably out of their control as far as honoring the price. Mistakes happen, maybe they will email everyone with a coupon or something on their next purchase.

From what I understand they haven’t determined whether they will be cancelling the orders or not. ALOT of people purchased them at this price and they are getting ALOT of phone calls regarding this so I think it would be wise of them to honor the original posted price.

I got my confirmation email last night. My order went from TBD for pricing, shipping, and taxes, to pending shipping. I used a remaining balance I had on a gift card and I paid $3.97 OOP (which has been deducted from my bank account as of today). I have not received a cancellation email yet, and as of a few minutes ago according to JCP.com, my order is suppose to be delivered on the 10th.

They told me over the phone that they will be canceling any orders that were not correct and you can go to their help section to see their policy. It’s under pricing : If an items correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
