Introducing: The Savings.com Savings Pledge!

I was thrilled to find out last week that I was selected as a 2011 Savings.com DealPro! Some of you may remember voting for me last year to be a 2010 DealPro and I cannot tell you how excited I am to be working with Savings.com again this year. They have some awesome things going on and I’m about to share one of them with you:

The Savings Pledge is the foundation of a movement to help consumers collectively save one billion dollars! Anyone can take the Pledge and make a commitment to being smart with money!  Here is how it works:

1. Boogie on over to The Savings Pledge Page on the Bargain Blessings Facebook page. Please note that you may get a security error when accessing it for the first time. Savings.com is working on correcting this, and it is safe to click through it.

2. Enter the amount of money that you would like to commit to saving each week.

3. Select what you are saving for. Is it a dream vacation, a child’s education, to pay off your mortgage or even just to pay the bills?!?

4. Select how you plan to reach your goal? Will you be clipping coupons, using an automatic savings plan, smarter purchasing or something else?

That’s it! You’ve made your pledge! Also, I wanted to be sure to get this post up nice and early for you because 5 of the first 500 people to take the pledge today will win a one-on-one, personalized advice session with a 2011 DealPro! Savings.com will also be celebrating key milestones ($100k of savings pledged, $500k of savings pledged) by offering special, exclusive deals to people who take the pledge so you can look forward to gaining access to those!
