I normally do not post on Albertsons deals just because it taked me a little drive to get to them and I no longer receive their ads, but they have some fantastic deals this week that are just too good not to tell you about. I made two trips to Albertsons during the past two days and was able to score everything in the above pictures for a grand total of $33.74. We are now stocked on snack foods for months to come!
The key to making this week’s Albertsons deals worth your wile is finding the Kellogg’s Fuel for School coupon booklets. They contain coupons for $2 off Produce, Ocean Spray Craisins and Juice, Milk Coffee, Bottled Watter, School Supplies and bread when you buy the specified Kellogg’s products that also happen to be part of this awesome Kellogg’s deal at Albertsons! I found a few on a special Kellogg’s display at the front of the store.
In a nutshell, you will get a $10 catalina and $10 in instant savings if you buy 10 participating Kellogg’s products. The catalina will also role, so you can use it on the next transaction and earn another catalina! Make sure to head over to Moms Thrifty Deals for all your coupon match-ups and details on this promotion.

I did another scenario with a few random things, so the above totals will not match my final total exactly. I also wanted to mention that the $2 Kellogg’s Fuel for School will beep if you are using another coupon on the product since they are attaching to the purchased product and not the product which you are getting $2 off of. My cashier approved the coupons and pushed them few if they beeped.

Wow, crazy comments, I dont know how your shopping effects them, thats pretty nuts. I just wanted to say that I also hit up Albertsons for this promo, this was a great deal! I did it like 3 times! I dont do Albertsons that much either, because they closed the one close to me and I also sont get theie ads, but this one was too good to pass on.

Andrea~ That was a typo. I've fixed it. Thanks!

Jennie-I'm a little confused….You said you used (4) $1/2 Pop tart coupons, but you only bought 4 Pop tarts. Can you do that or can you only use 2 coupons for the 4 items?
Gwen says
Jennie — Thanks for all you do. Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to get to Albertson's this week. I have a houseful of teens that go through snacks of all sorts very quickly so these are great deals for my needs.

Jen~ I've found the coupon booklets at Albertsons (at the front of the store). They still had some left at the store off of Univeristy on Saturday, but they were all gone on Sunday.
Kristin~ The $2 off coupons should attach to the Bread, Milk, Ocean Spray etc. but because Kellogg's doesn't really know how to code the UPCs for those items they coded them to attach to the items you are buying it. It is pretty much the same as using a $1 off coupon on Item A and a BOGO coupon on items A&B. Does that make sense? You could always call your store manager if you want to be sure. ๐

Question for you Jennie…
I'm getting a little confused on how these deals are working…how do you use coupons on the Fuel for School…so the reason it's beeping is b/c the Fuel for School discount and your MQ ends up on the same item and you can only use one of those on the item?
I don't want to spend a ton of time rounding up coupons if they aren't going to accept them in the end.
Kristin says
Wow!! I don't get the alberson's circular either, although it's not really that far away….
wish I would have known as I already used a lot of my kellogg's and morningstar coupons at Target, and I think this is a better deal.

Hey Jennie,
Where did you find your coupon books? I can't seem to find any of them! Also great shopping! Now if I could fine those books before the sale is over!

I agree just because you dont like it doesnt mean the rest of her readers dont.. these make awesome snacks for the billions of games we have and everything is good in moderation.. Thank you so much for posting this and keep up the great work!

Good for you! I went wild at Albies last week and this week too. I got tons of Morningstar (so healthy!) since I'm a vegetarian. I was really pleased because my Albies had plenty of stock, which is sometimes rare for that store!

Kat and Anonymous- What is it to you anyways on what Jennie buys. I think you should be ashamed of yourselves. Jennie provides a service to us and you bash her.
Jennie- Thanks for everything that you do.

You are one amazing couponer, Jennie! You found some fabulous deals! These are my favorite kind of posts, too – to see how much you can get for so little money. It's inspiring to others to see that couponing is worth your time to save your family so much money!

Anonymous, Why didn't you get a raincheck? That is what I did and I'm planning to just pick it up when it is back in stock.

Wow you people are rude and judgmental. As someone who knows first-hand how much Jennieโs smart shopping benefits our community your comments make me angry. Thank you so much for all you do Jennie! My family appreciates it a lot.

Hi Anon~ I actually bought my Excedrin on Sunday and my store was stocked with tons of it! And yes, I also use Excedrin all of the time, so I stocked up.

Hi Kat~
Thanks for your comments. I've mentioned this many times before, but perhaps you have not seen my comments…if I ever can get a really good deal on a product and I have the time and the coupons I'll get it. Just becuase my family will not eat it…it doesn't mean that another family wouldn't love to have it. I would have to say that we donate more of the things that I buy than we consume. ๐

Was it really necessary to buy 5 bottles of Excedrin? I finally made it to Albertsons on Saturday and they were all out. I was only planning on buying 1 bottle and I use it all the time for my headaches.
Kat says
Your deals were good but its all processed stuff full of sugar, carbs and god knows what else. I don't see anything besides the milk that has any nutritional value for your family. First off, let me say that I always look at your page for ideas on how to save money and appreciate your efforts. But it would be nice to see a few more healthy options in your shopping trips.
