I shared a few different ways to get things for free on Fox this morning. If you missed the segment, you can view it above and you can find additional details below on the items that we discussed.
How to Get Free Item Coupons From Manufacturers
One of my favorite ways to get high-value and sometimes even FREE item coupons is e-mailing manufacturers. It is very simple and doesn’t take a whole lot of your time. Here is a list of 173 manufacturers that I recommend you contact to request coupons.
It is also a great idea to contact those manufacturers that you buy from the most. Just take a look in your kitchen cabinets for some ideas. 😉
How to Get Free Items at the Grocery Store
If you’ve been reading Bargain Blessings for any length of time you know that we are able to get free items and very inexpensive items quite often at the grocery store. Here is just one example of a great freebie available over at King Soopers through today (1/31):
Wolfgang Puck Organic Iced Coffee 8.5oz $1
-$1 Wolfgang Puck Coupon
=FREE!
Make sure to check out the stores tab above for a complete listing of deals by store.
Free Activities for Your Family
There are so many things to do around town that are free. Stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot and Michael’s offer great kids crafts and building projects on a regular basis. Make sure to check out the Free Family Activites round-up that you can find on Fridays here on Bargain Blessings.
Free Tax Prep
Both H&R Block and TurboTax are offering free federal tax filing this year. These services work well if you have a simple return to complete. Make sure to keep in mind that you will need to pay for your state taxes to be filed, as that is not free.
