Michael’s has a great new coupon out! The only thing is that I’m having a hard time determining what it is for, since the wording is a little confusing. 🙂
From what I can understand, with this coupon, you will receive a $5 off coupon for every $5 you spend. There is a maximum of $25 that you can receive for your purchase. So, if you spend $25, you’ll get $25 back to use. However, Michael’s posted this on their Facebook page:
“Yes, it is real. If you spend $5 or more, you’ll get $5 off your purchase.”
So this makes it sound like if you spend $5, you’ll get your items for free. Either way, it is a great deal. I very highly suggest checking with your store when you arrive to see how they are interpreting this coupon. Please come back and share what you find out!
Also, the nice thing about this coupon is that it says that you can pull it up on your smartphone, so you can save your paper and ink.
(Thanks Chitown Cheapskate!)

Michaels in Burlington, Vt says that the coupon is $5 off $25 order and that the stores have been”briefed” on this coupon and it isn’t $5 off a $5 order.
Supposedly the fine print states that but it is so small I didn’t bother, just used my 40% off and went with it.

Chris, that is a bummer. All over Michael’s facebook page, Michael’s has responded to customers questions that the coupon is in fact $5 off $5 or more spent. I am hoping to go today and show them on my phone if they question it.

I was just able to print the coupon…twice! Wasn’t sure if I would need more than one. Not sure I’ll make it there tomorrow with all of the snow, but I’m going to try!!
Alyssa says
Well, good thing they take it from your phone because when I try to print it, it says closed? Anyone else having that problem?
Megan says
Just a heads up, it’s only valid today and tomorrow.
