ING is back this 4th of July with two *HOT* new new account bonuses that will put some extra cash in your pocket for FREE!
I know of quite a few people who have gotten in on this promotion in the past and I have heard lots of good things about it. Here is what reader Kimberly shared on the Bargain Blessings Facebook page:
ING is a very good bank – I have opened a checking account and 10 savings accounts (seven accounts were for my children and they all received a bonus). I wanted to open savings accounts at my brick and mortar but you need a minimum $250 to avoid a fee – and these were special savings accounts for home improvement, etc. that would be below that. So ING was a real blessing!
Get $152 for Opening an Electric Orange Checking Account
-Open Electric Orange between June 30th to July 3rd and make a total of 5 purchases (either signature or PIN-based) using your Electric Orange Card or Person2Person Payments (or any combination of the two) within 45 days, and a $76 bonus will be automatically deposited into your account by August 22nd.
-Also earn $76 more for switching – Set up Direct Deposit and have two Direct Deposits of at least $250 post to your Electric Orange by August 31st, and your other $76 bonus for setting up Direct Deposit will be automatically deposited by September 10th.
Get $17.76 for Opening a Kids Savings Account
-Open a Kids Savings Account between June 30th – July 3rd and ING will put a $17.76 bonus into your new account. Only available when you open a new account with at least one new Customer (either you or the kiddo must be a new Customer to ING DIRECT and yes, the kiddo must be under 18 years old).
-Your $17.76 bonus will start earning interest upon account opening, and is available for withdrawal after 30 days. There’s no minimum deposit amount required.

I’m a pretty passive person but for the past few hours the Godzilla in me wants to snort out a halibut lot of fire.
I have been with ING for years and years and I have never been as disgusted with a company as I am now. Well, okay, a certain plumbing company that will go unnamed but that was in February.
I guess the Capitol One side of ING has taken over. Sad thing is, I’m sort of stuck with ING for the time being.
Don’t worry … even though I’m feeling all Godzilla-ish, I won’t demolish Tokyo – or any other country for that matter.

I opened a checking account to get the $50 bonus…..geez, wish I had waited! The website is user-friendly and all went smoothly. No complaints here! I use it for eBay sales and expenses.

My wife and I opened one of these with this deal last year and have used it as a vacation account for our family.
