WHAT A MESS DEALING WITH CABELA’S!!!!!
I also ordered a bunch of stuff, and never received an email, a call, nothing. Since I paid with a debit card they ended up putting a hold on almost $300.00 of my money for 5 days. I have called 3 times and that problem has not been taken care of. Long story short….I would never ever deal with Cabela’s again!!!!! Putting merchandise on thier website that they do not have, however took orders, customers paid, AND a very bad lack of communication!!!! They can’t send an email saying that they are sorry but could not fullfill the order, however here is a free code for $10.00 off your next order and just anything?????? They have horrible business skills, and now after 3 calls already, I am now going to have to call them again, and pretty much beg them to send me an email showing the order has been cancelled, then have to go directly to my bank and show proof to finally get the hold taken off my account!!! I am not happy at all, so yes I will never order from Cabela’s again!!!!

Yuck Becky! That sound terrible. I cannot believe that they put a $300 hold on your card! They didn’t put anything on mine. I hope you are able to get it cleared up. It is always very dissapointing when a company doesn’t stand by a sale.

Paula, I did the same thing tonight. I ordered 11 items (on Monday) and all but 2 were cancelled. One is being processed and the other is on back order (?). Luckly they are only charging me $1.38/per item on shipping. Sounds like the $1.88 items were due to glitch in the system and they were all already discontinued items but I have heard different stories? Good luck to the others:)

I just checked my order and they cancelled all three of my items, but they are also listed as shipped. That is always a bummer when they don’t even tell you that they are cancelling your order. I understand a mistake but, a little communication would be nice Cabela’s!

Did you ladies check the status of your order? Since I never got an e-mail confirmation I just called them and they said they couldn’t ship the items because the items were discontinued and unavailable. When I go online I see that the order status is shipped but the availability is canceled… That’s why I called them to clarify. My credit card hasn’t been charge, which is good! Just curious to see if your orders went through. I placed my order on 10/11 at around 11:45 a.m. Hope you were luckier than me…

THANKS! I just got seven items for a total of 29.78 shipped! Six of them were Northface too! You never see Northface items going for $4 or less! 🙂
