Christie over at Wild for Wags pointed out a few great reasons to hold on to this week’s Walgreens ad!
Every week or so I’ll get an e-mail or comment from a reader that was told by a manager that their Register Reward didn’t print because they used a coupon. This is just down right wrong. It honestly shocks me that there are so many misinformed managers and cashiers on this subject. How hard would it be for Walgreens corporate to draft a formal coupon policy and send it out to all the stores?!? Take a look at the Garnier RR deal in this week’s ad…
Notice anything? Look at the green banner in the upper right hand corner….it is advising us to use coupons to go along with the deal! Here is another…look at the red section at the top…
And lastly, if you’ve ever been told you can’t use a IVC coupon with a manufacturer coupon…
So there you go. I suggest keeping this ad with you for the next time a manager tries to tell you why your Register Reward didn’t print! 🙂

It happened to me on Sunday…I spent 45 minutes in the store, being sent to the back of the line while everyone went in front of me. Finally a manager voided the whole transaction to make it right. What an experience. Thank you for your help!

Thanks so much for this. I went to Walgreens Sunday to get the Kotex with the register receipts and the coupons and was told this exact thing. I will be going back later this week & taking my ad with me- thanks again!
