I know that there are thousands of bread recipes. But I love this recipe, it is quick easy and so far fail proof. I have made it hundreds of times and they alway turn out, so in my book it is a keeper! I also like it because you do not have to knead the dough. I have a lot of problems with pain in my wrists, so it works best for me. My girls and I love cooking together, some times it would be faster or less messy without their help…. but I feel it is best to let them help while they are still eager to learn.
In large bowl add
2 cups warm water ( if it is too hot or too cold…you will kill the yeast. So make sure it is warm)
2 TBS yeast
1/2 cup sugar
Give it a few minutes in the bowl, to make sure your yeast is working.
Then add:
3 eggs whipped lightly
3/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
Mix well….
Start to wisk in the flour one cup at a time ( for a total of 6 cups)
You will need to switch over to a spoon to mix with, on about cup 4 of flour.
Place them on a greased pan, Bake 400 degrees 10-12 mins
Once cooked, brush a bit of butter on top to give them a nice shine. Take off baking sheet, cool on cooling rack.
Last but not least enjoy!

🙂 The muffins ~almost~ turned out. I mixed them together correctly and was so excited about knowing they should turn out beautifully that I forgot to set the timer! 😛 So the outside was rather brown and the strusel topping melted and burnt around the edge. But the innards tasted good, and my husband thought they were tastey, so I guess they were a semi-success! At least none went to the compost pile. 😀

It's so embarrassing to admit what an awful baker I am, especially in an easy recipe! One batch (from the same dough mind you) turned out but the rest went to compost. I think I may have forgotten one of the cups of flour in the flour adding stage? My rolls did not look like hers. I think the funniest part of my comedy of errors (why did I try baking with hubby home and baby not napping?) was when I left the already risen dough on the counter for a few hours and came back to find it had risen again and was slowly sneaking off the counter it was so big!! 😀
But I haven't given up! I'm going to try them again on my next baking day. Today I'm trying my hand at blueberry muffins. Here's hoping!!

Freedom~ How did it all turn out for you! Sarah was going to get back to you on your question, but you had already removed your comment when she made it over. 🙂
BeeBelle~ I do not believe that this is a high-altitude recipe already. 🙂

Is this a high-altitude recipe already, or should we adjust at a mile high? I live in Denver and lots of recipes are flexible, but breads are one thing I always have to adjust.
