Groupon: An Awesome Way to Save Money Locally!

I have to admit that I have not been paying much attention to all the Groupon hype lately, but after I saw my friend Angela post about the laser hair treatment deal in her area I decided it was time to dig out my old e-mails to see what types of deals I’ve been missing out on!

Once I looked back in my e-mails I was a little bummed! Two days ago they had a deal to get 60% off laser teeth whitening! I totally would have gotten in on that had I been paying a little more attention. A few days before that there was a deal for 50% off a Full day Kayaking lesson…how fun! I’m definitely going to be watching for those Groupon Deals from now on.

For those of you who are not familiar with Groupon, let me tell you a little about it. Each day Groupon feature a new deal at an unbeatable price. These deals are specific to your location, so you can find some really fun ones! The only catch is that you can only get in on the deal if enough people also decide to get in on it. I don’t think this is normally an issue since if it is a really HOT deal I’m sure enough people would be interested.

So that is it! I get one e-mail from Groupon each deal telling me what the new deal is… and like I said, I’m going to be paying more attention to them now! Today’s deal is for a $100 Furniture Row Gift Certificate for just $25! Boy that would have been nice when we bought our desk a few months ago!
