Only half of American parents are saving for their children’s college and even more interesting is that that nearly half of those who are not currently saving have a reason other than the lack of money to do so. To enter to win your share of the $100,000, visit the Upromise website to sign up for free membership and take the pledge. Plus, for additional chances to win you can dine at Upromise partner restaurants or even download the free college savings tool called “RewardU.” After October 10th, fifty finalists will be randomly selected and the public will vote to select the 10 grand prize winners.

  48. Saving for my cousin’s three sons who are like our own. One has graduated with student loans, one has just started his freshman year of college, and the other will start college next year. Lots of debt there!

  64. I would use it for myself, I want to go to photography school and can’t afford it, I am in debt consolidation now and money gets taken from my check every month. I will be in this mess for 5 years and my credit is shot. I would love to be able to go to school and study what I love which is photography, Its my passion in life.
