I was recently given the opportunity to try out the Cuisinart 2 QT Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet and Ice Cream Maker  from Abe’s of Maine. It arrived in perfect timing to whip up a snack for a warm spring day this weekend!

Chocolate chip was the flavor of choice and boy was it yummy…so much better than store-bought ice cream! The great part was that it only took 5 ingredients…milk, whipping cream, sugar, vanilla, and chocolate chips. I love that I was able to actually see everything that was going into my ice cream! Another bonus is that it only took 20 minutes to whip-up… for an incredible homemade dessert!

  134. I would love to make everything but the kitchen sink ice cream. I would start by making vanilla ice cream. I would add chocolate chips, M&M’s, kit Kat bars, nestle crunch bars, Reese peanut butter cups, milky way bars and top it off with hot fudge. Yummo!

Since I LOVE Iced Caramel Macchiatos and Chocolate Ice Cream, I would create ice cream with the same ingredients until it was a perfect blend of Heavenly Delight…..how can you go wrong with caramel sauce, vanilla to accent the chocolate, chocolate ice cream and top it all off with whipped cream and cherries on top…..Is anyone drooling yet??
